Malaysia Airlines high standard service was recognised through various industry awards over the years. On 2013, it claimed the title of "Asia's Leading Airline" at the World Travel Awards 2013 while also being awarded the first airline with the "World's Best Cabin Crew" by Skytrax consecutively from 2001 to 2004, 2007, 2009 and again in 2012. Having received also the "Best Airline Signature Dish" award in 2012 and 2013, is one of the only seven airlines worldwide to be accredited a "5-star Airline" at the World Airline Awards 2013.
